SHOWER FOR PRESTON AND KYLA
We had a good shower for Preston and Kyla at our house today. Here are a few pictures. Note the little girls are enjoying helping the bride and groom open presents - and getting the ribbon tied in their hair. Sorry I didn't have time to take more pictures, but maybe someone else can post some.

It was a pleasure to meet Kyla and her family. She and Preston seem very happy together and are looking forward to their wedding in a couple of weeks. The birthday surprise for Carol was the icing on the cake (pun intended) and Carol handled herself with her usual graciousness. Her grandchildren singing was a highlight of the afternoon party. Also the kiss I saw Carol and Perry sneak when Perry took a seat next to Carol. Well, I don't think it was secret, but it was sweet anyway!
