A FEW PICTURES
We're basically done with our "redecorating" project and thought I'd share a few pictures with you. It's a BIG change from the black wallpaper in the family room and the flowered wallpaper in the kitchen/dining room. Fortunately, we got it done just in time for Jerry to begin working in the yard - which is his very favorite thing to do - really!

I'm still having problems loading pictures - I accidentally loaded the one with the light glaring, but don't know how to take that one out! Oh well, at least you can get an idea of what we've been doing for the last 6 weeks or so. Jerry did all the wallpaper-stripping, painting. Perry 2 put the crown-molding around the ceiling and we really love that.
We're kinda wondering if anybody will notice something a little unusual . . . :)
Wow! I love it! I like the green walls, too. A new look. Did you move the couch along that wall? CK
The something different is the wall mounted TV. There is surely a radical change in decor. The crown mold really lends a new dimension to the rooms!
Cleve, we got a new couch along the wall with a matching chair - got rid of the recliner. Lynn, the wall mounted TV is new, but is not unusual thing I'm asking for.
I'm sure someone will see what I'm talking about eventually.
I don't remember you having a door going outside back by the office room. Has that always been there? Wow, everything looks upbeat and cheery. ---Carol
Oh yes! The direction decor in the kitchen is pointing incorrectly. North is always supposed to be on top. ----Carol
You got it, Carol! NOW, why do you think we placed it that way?
Love the work you've done. I noticed the compass directions but assumed it was placed so it would appear to be a compass if you are standing in front looking at it. Really like the compass and the painting over the fireplace.
Go Cubs! I loved when I hung a tv as it made the room seem so much bigger.
I think you got that compass thing right, Rhoda. Jerry had the N at the top, but I told him to move it so it would be toward the north. We thought that might make it a conversation piece.
