Guatemala Adventure

Well, after 8 months of planning & praying & fundraising & team meetings, Christian and I are leaving Olney IL at 1:15am Sunday morning on an adventure to Guatemala. We (along with 16 others) will be building a house for a young family in the jungles around Sam Raimundo Guatemala. We're looking forward to it and can't wait to experience the culture, the people, the project, our Father God and the RAIN! We'll let you know how it goes...

I hope you have a safe and productive time in Guatamala. I'm sure you will be blessed as will the people who receive the new house.

What an exciting time for you and Christian. Praying for a wonderful, safe, and blessed time for you both.

I ditto the previous two. It will be a great father/son experience as well. The people will be blessed by the house and the two of you will be greatly impacted by the experience. We will remember you in prayer.

I'm glad you got to go, and will be ready to hear and see reports of how it is going.

Incidentally, that is a very good picture of Mother (at the top of the Blog).

And the Eric saga was of interest as well. I did not mean to draw interest away from that. We saw Georgia and Herb at Steak and Shake on Sunday evening on Raab Road.

Eric - are you back yet, and do we get an update on how it went?
