Empty Nest

We are now officially empty nesters. We took both offspring to college yesterday and came home to an empty house. No waiting up for a teenager to get in, but, with Mike at work today, nobody to carry in the groceries this morning either.

Angela's comments were right on. It's a huge mixture of emotions. On this, the first morning, however - I like it. There's a feeling of freedom!
