Thank you for the kind words, Lynn and Mim. Our wedding day was not hot. We had scorching heat all week, but on Friday night it cooled off and Sunday was beautiful.
Mim, as I remember you made new curtains for the basement before the wedding. We displayed our gifts in the basement.
I had forgotten sewing the curtains, but I do remember the dining table for serving was in the living room and the bridal party stood in the dining room in front of the front windows. Aunt Hulda Martin came up to Western Springs to stay with Ann and Mark so we could attend your wedding unencumbered! As I recall Carolyn, Catherine and I served.
How about posting some of your wedding pictures?
