Happy Birthday, Nogblog

I hope you are having a wonderful day, Judy. We sure appreciate you and all the help you've given Perry proofing materials, setting up the Remembering Ralph book, etc. I remember when we were engaged and Perry first told me about his special neice, Judy. I was so eager to meet you. Your many talents and kindness to all is an inspiration to us! May God bless you.

Is this #57? Love, Carol

PS Hopefully I have the right day. Today is also my Dad's birthday.

ooooooo, you're right Carol. Happy Birthday, Judy. We all thought you were such a cute little girl . . . we used to love to feed you ice cream so fast that you started crying! We thought that was so funny. Well, 55 years later, I'm sorry. You're still cute as a button and very special. Love from your Aunt Ada.

I used to feel guilty for the things I do that may bug my nieces and nephews until I found out people make their nieces cry!!! Oh well, in 55 years I'll apologize to them for all the "Aunt Rhoda kisses" I've given them.

Oh yes, I almost forgot--Happy Birthday Nog Blog!

Notice I didn't say who "we" included - but those of you who helped make her cry know who you are!!

So . . . did Dave take you out for dinner, Judy?

Actually I babysat Wade and Mara this evening. They just left and Dave just walked in the door...9:30 pm...so no dinner out tonight. We have a wedding in Indianapolis on Sunday so may go out tomorrow evening (on our anniversary.)

I don't remember the ice cream capers, and you can relax because all I ever remember was being pretty spoiled by all of my aunts and uncles. I loved it.

My recollection of first seeing Judy was at the Chicago church on Sunnyside. Ralph and Catherine visited the church on a Thanksgiving morning and here was this darling little girl, smiling from ear to ear and carrying the baby's (probably Stan's) bottle as she trailed behind her mother. Little did I dream that this sweet little gal would become my niece!

Sorry to be a day late, but many birthday congratulations from South Carolina also. Sorry I have no recollections of when you were such a cute little girl. :-) But you've brought many smiles to me in recent months! Your innovative entries on the blog are just great.
