Lemonade Violin

We could use more sun today but that hasn't stopped the kids from setting up a lemonade stand during our annual neighborhood garage sale this morning. Grace is providing one of their planned "attractions" while Owen and neighbors Lanie and Ava are hawking traffic. Video taken through the screen door because I wanted to capture them naturally rather than performing for the camera.

Didn't your heart just melt when some kind woman stopped to buy? Guess there are still some old-time traditions still alive..like the lemonade stand.

That is too, too cute! Did they advertise the violin playing on the signs as well as the lemonade? You have quite a virtuoso in the making there.

My yesterday's comment didn't come through, so I'll try again. Anyway, that is the most creative lemonade stand I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing, Drake. Brings back memories of charging Rhoda and Mary for the sugar and lemons for their lemonade stand. Wanted to teach them that there is no such thing as a free lunch. And they refuse to let me forget it!
But, they learned an important economic lesson.

Grace, you really did good on the violin. I could hardly believe that was you! Did you do good on your lemonade stand?

It looked like you were having a lot of fun.
