Jeffrey was the official candle-blower-outer, but he had a hard time - the candles were the kind that keep re-igniting. Notice Dad's accessory--due to the number of candles that should have been required for an age of such magnitude!
John-Michael was preparing for a formal event he was attending that night but was persuaded to pose -

We had a really nice time. Too bad the location wasn't a little closer to many of the rest of you or we could have had an even bigger nice time.

Did you say "80!" Unbelievable. In my memory you always look just like "Aunt Mim," and the pictures posted confirm that you definitely do not look your age. What a blessing to be able to go and do like you still can. Of course, a little more cautiously as the years go by, but still very vibrant and interested in life and the people you love. May there be many more birthdays ahead!
I agree with Judy - you certainly do not look or act like you're 80 years old. From the pictures, I believe you had a wonderful time. Best wishes for many more happy/healthy years.
Conratulation, Mim, on reaching the 80 milestone. You certainly don't look or seem that old, but maybe 80 is younger than it used to be. (We've decided that 70 is definitely not "old.") May God grant you many more happy birthdays!
