There is great excitement in the State of Illinois tonight. After many years of close competition, we think we have won the contest of having the most governor's in federal prisons at the same time. How proud we all are of our Great State. Just think how President Lincoln feels tonight.
We've been watching this story unfold all day. It was such a surprise to realize that Governor Blagojavich (or however it is he spells his name) is a crook!!

It's been all over our news too, even the local broadcasts. He must be something else!
We all knew he wasn't "right." Now we don't have to worry about him in Illinois anymore, and we don't have to worry about him appointing himself for Obama's empty Senate seat. I expected that to happen, and was surprised by the auctioning off of the position.
It's beyond words. #2 man, honest Lt. Gov. Pat Quinn says "I haven't talked to the man in all of 2008". Lisa Madigan, IL. Atty.Gen., says "I saw him only once in 2008 -at the Demo Convention." His neighbor says "I see him jogging all the time in the middle of the day -- when Springfield is in session!". He quit going to the Governor's Conventions long ago.
This man is for the people??? Blame the people of Illinois and the power of money for his existence. It is a true disgrace and embarassment.
Disgraceful and an embarrassment- I agree. I sometimes think of government as a dirty business - full of squeaky wheels and back scratchers. But this really is a new low.
It has created such a contrast to the pride that many in the state have in the election of a hometown man to the presidency.
