The Friendly Confines

Michelle and I spent a picture perfect summer day with some friends at Wrigley Field yesterday. We sat in the fifth row right behind home plate. The Cubs beat the Pirates 5-1. The video shows Ronny Cedeno hitting into a double play but allowing Mark DeRosa to score in the bottom of the 4th inning.

That looks like alot of fun. How'd you get those great seats?

Must be company seats??? A beautiful day, great ballpark, great game and the right team won.
Today's game would have been a great one also. Aaron and I had a father-son tradition of going to one Cubs game per year together since he was about 5. Now, he and his son Caleb have started the same tradition -- they're going this Wednesday.
Go Cubs.

The tickets were provide by our friends from a friend of theirs. I'm looking around for tickets to Wed game for Owen and me. If that works out maybe we can connect with Aaron and Caleb.

That would be wonderful if you could get tickets for Wednesday. I won't tell Aaron your intentions, but if you can pull it off, surprise him by going to the upper deck where they will be in ABOUT the 3rd row, right behind home plate. He won't see this post before then, because he gets home from New York City on late Tuesday night.

Sounds like soooo much fun. Hope you and Owen get to go, if not this week - sometime before the summer's over. Mom
