Just checking with all you Klopfenstein's...

Last summer when I often was barefoot or wore sandals, the back of my heel started hurting. This summer it has started again and is getting to be a problem! It's not the underside of the heel, but the back of the heel. I'm trying to go back to tennis shoes, but I hate it. Anybody else have such trouble? Foot trouble is new for me. One website said, "It is commonly found in the overweight and middle-aged." Humpff!

I have had such a heal pain in the past on several occasions. Changing shoe style is probably your best option.

Sounds like you need to get some MK Mint Bliss Energizing Foot and Leg Lotion! : ) Retta needs to get right on that one.

Read up on plantar fasciitis (I think it's spelled right). Is it worst when you get out of bed or up from sitting awhile? I had that for awhile, and so did Mike. He claims his went away because he lost weight, but I didn't lose weight and mine went away too!!!

Judy,
Among the many unsolicited catalogs
that we get is one about foot maladies, including plantar fasciitis. The suggestion is some kind of brace to hold your foot up at the ankle when you are in bed. But one can do that without the brace at many times during the day.
So that's your Aunt Mim's suggestion.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I've stuck to solid shoes the last couple of days and I can already tell a difference. So I'm off to buy a new pair of tennies...
