Yesterday, late afternoon, Andrew "popped the question" to his girlfriend Teah. She said yes. :-)
They have been seeing each other since Andrew came home from China in August; however, during his second year in China, Teah was doing a similar mission, teaching English in Poland. Andrew's good friend Bryon is married to Teah's sister, and they suggested that the two talk on Skype. Which they did, all year long. So they've really known each other for a year and a half.
Teah is a very sweet Christian girl. As Grandma K. would have said - They are just "dippy" about each other!

So excited to add my first niece-in-law. I got to spend a little time with Andrew and Teah when I was in SC a few weeks ago. One night we went for coffee, and it was so nice to see them interact. The next night Andrew made dinner for Mom, Dad and me. Teah made an excellent sous chef to help him prepare bacon wrapped venison steaks wrapped around venison sausage, mashed potatoes, green beans and salad!
And I will attest to the "dippiness" as well!
Well, how exciting! Thanks for sharing the news and the cute picture. They make a cute couple and look happy. Of course!
Congratulations! Great news. Great photo. I'll bet they can sing a Great duet, too!
Congratulations and our very best wishes! ---Carol
