Perry and I returned last night from a short vacation in California. We were told they had had no rain since April, and Tuesday night when we went to eat in Old Town, it poured along with thunder and wind. Wednesday, we took a 2 hr cruise on the bay, Thursday, we toured the USS Midway, and Friday we went to the beach on Coronado island. We were gone 4 nights. The last day, we "got smart" and got some protection from the sun. It was wonderful and now we are eager for the "next time." ---Carol

Beach time is always good. It's nice you could get away for a few days. Whatcha checking on your phone there, UP?
