Yes, it's Emily Field! What a wonderful new friend! Tell her hello for me. She is a super person and was such a wonderful neighbor and friend for years. ---Carol
We were at International Talk Time at ISU and Emily Field was one of the church ladies serving the meal. It was fun to meet her and then discover she lived in Gridley from '77 to '00 and part of that time across the street from Perry's in the little blue house on the corner. She also knows the Knoblochs and knew Mom and Dad through working at Ben Roth's office. Yes, she's a wonderful person to get to know!
There are approximately 400 international students attending ISU. Every Friday night they are invited to a meal and social time, including an optional Bible study. Usually attendance is 50 to 100. Amy is resigning her job as a school speech therapist and will start working full time with International Students Inc. starting this summer. It is a campus ministry that, in addition to "talk time", will line up host families and assists with transportation, furniture, shopping, field trips, and the like. She's been volunteering for about 6 years and it's been a real blessing for her and us as well!

Give us some details, Cathy! Your name tag looks like it says "USA", so is this Emily from another country? Who among us should know her?
I recognized her but couldn't come up with the name. I associate her with the Gridley library. Where are you and what are you doing?

I'm curious to know what International Talk Time is? It sounds interesting.
