Happy Birthday, Crystal!

I am in awe of the passing of time as it seems like just yesterday that I took this picture of these two happy dads with their precious baby girls.  And now they are turning 40.  It's truly amazing because they really don't seem that old. ---Carol

Put a little gray hair on Cleve's head and he hasn't changed that much. Perry looks so much like Preston, I think! Fun picture!

This picture was taken in Downers Grove. We were apartment dwellers and I was a commuter on the Burlington Northern Railroad. I worked at the Board of Trade in the loop. My employer was ContiCommodities, a division of Continental Grain Company, and I wrote a weekly grain market letter. Ralph had earlier worked for Continental, but then became president of Heinold Commodities.
Ah, these are days gone by...never to return (but our memories can reference them)

What a sweet picture. I remember that apartment - had a "girls outing" one day and we all came for lunch with Carol. Interesting how life changes - guess it would be pretty boring if it didn't.

Thanks for the birthday wishes! I don't feel like I always thought 40 would feel like. I guess that's true for most ages.
