Dad Sells A Car to Uncle Ralph (for Cleve)

My dad is going through old papers and found this bill of sale from when he sold a car to Cleve and Uncle Ralph.  Sure wish we could still buy cars for that price.  The pictures may be hard to look at because of size, but if you click directly on the picture it should enlarge it.

Dad is going through a lot of stuff, so more may be coming--

Interesting. Mother bought me a blue/white Ford from Lynn when I was probably a sophomore in college. I thought I was pretty smart to have my own car. I wonder if Lynn will find a bill of sale for that car?

Thanks for the memories, Ann. That new Ford Falcon was my car all through my Sr. year in H.S. and also through college! Note that the trade-in was a 1960 Austin (mini-Cooper) and Uncle Lynn allowed only $330 for it! It was a very, very tiny car, but fun. I will never forget the shocking statement that Uncle Lynn said to me when I picked up the new Ford:
"well, you'll be able to 'make out' a little easier in this car, won't you?"

I made a copy of that invoice for my Lifetime Scrapbook. Thanks again!

I would recognize the handwriting even if there were nothing else to say that Dad wrote that.
