Catherine's new living accommodations...

On Oct. 3, all of us 7 kids helped Mom move out of Evergreen Place in Normal into the brand new Meadows at Mercy Creek facility.  It is also in Normal, on the east edge of town.  She is now nicely settled into her apartment and reports "I love it here.  I know so many more people, the place is sparkling clean and new, and the food is great!"  Here's a photo....

Oh, Catherine, I am so happy for you that you are in a place that you like and in which you know folks.
From the pic, the new arrangement looks lovely and very comfy. We're tentatively planning to come for Perry/Carol's Christmas and look forward to seeing you then if...................

I went to visit her once, then later Jerry and I took her to church a week ago. She is very enthusiastic about the new place.

Amen, and Hallelujah! I am so thankful for her good adjustment and happiness with her move. It was a bit risky, as she really was quite content where she was, but the change is doing her good and I'm glad she made the decision to make the move.

I loved this place when I visited Catherine on the first or second day. It is on Towanda-Barnes Road, the one I take on my trip back to Pontiac when I make sales calls in Bloomington. It is an outstanding place. It is called Mercy Creek. I refer to it as Catherine's Creek.

Cleve looks like a retired diplomat, having arrived back from Paris to visit his Mother. Notice his dignity...legs crossed, and hands nicely set on his lap; and observe those glasses hanging on his chest. Cleve IS a diplomat in my book, in every way.

I love your new place, Catherine, and I am so glad that you are happy there. I wish Keith and I could move into a nice, new apartment. Our house with basement is getting to be almost too much for us.
