Don't you remember everyone wearing hats, Judy? Yep they just piled them up on the racks. I always felt kind of "classy" in a hat, but it just messed up my hair and made me look "tacky" when I took it off. Can't win!
I have seen this pic before and am almost positive the trio was on the way to our wedding on March 24, 1957. Where was Ada? It was her first day wearing nylon hose so she may have been running a little late!
Oops, I think I blew it again. Lynn points out on March 24 the temperature would have required coats. Alice, now I think it was a special day for you. Your turn to settle the matter.

What do you think they did with all those hats when they got to church? Were there enough coat racks to hold them all?

I am quite sure it was the Sunday that Keith and my engagement was announced, June 5, 1959. I remember the dress and that was my car. Fancy, eh?
Why do you all look kinda mad on such a happy day? Everybody's frowning. Probably the sun is shining in your eyes. :)
