I finished A Pilgrim's Journey on Sunday morning before going to church. I was very impressed. I knew it would be good, coming from Grandpa, but wondered if some parts might be a little boring. However, the vast majority of the book was very entertaining and interesting, and it kept my attention well. I learned a lot about Grandpa that I didn't know before. I found that he has had a fuller life than I realized (meaning many and various jobs, etc.) I don't know what was my favorite part; I pretty much liked it all. The book also made me realize more exactly how big an assignment writing Marching to Zion was. In summary, I really enjoyed the book and would recommend it to anyone.

I've also read the book and truly enjoyed it. I learned many details about Perry's life that I hadn't known. The family part was the best as I could relate to all those "old-time" memories. Good job Perry.

Nice picture!

An interesting book, intermingled with lots of "perry-humor". Recommended reading.
