So one time when she had a high fever and seemed to have the same symptoms, I made an appointment and took her in. The doctor came in with a puzzled look on his face, said there was no urinary tract infection, and he wasn't sure what was wrong, but he would check her over. He even looked down her throat. He then turned to me with a smile on his face and said "I bet this is the only time that you will ever take your daughter to a urologist for strep throat."

Not sure you'd get by with that today without issues...getting past the appointment maker, the insurance provider, or the doctor, who is being watched by his management group, his appointment maker, and his patient's insurance provider.
A good & faithful doctor is hard to find. I know of a guy who had surgery from swallowing a dime and the doctor made him cough up two hundred dollars. When he got the bill, he realized why the doctor wore a mask during the surgery. My doctor recently put his hand on my wallet and asked me to cough.
Chuckling...
