Klopfenstein Family Christmas Dinner

There were 19 of us for the usual turkey dinner and wonderful heavenly hash dessert. Jerry and Ada surprised us with special gifts for Alice, Perry and Catherine. (Gloria will take it to her.) Jerry used a beam from the old grain elevator and made clocks. They are beautiful! Alice gave the women her wonderful potholders and dish cloths. Uncle Lynn called and talked to Ada and she told him he could also open his gift which she had previously sent. We were grateful for the time to be with family. Love, Carol

Dave came without Judy because she had to work. Perry II came without Joan because she had to work. Charity came without Glenn and Caleb because Caleb was sick with the flu and Glenn stayed home with him.---just thought some might be wondering.

It was a wonderful family Christmas. Thanks so much to Perry and Carol for inviting us. We had a delicious meal plus dessert and home made cookies and caramels.
Even though the group was small, we had great fellowship.

I would have loved to have been there. Oooh - caramels! I'd also love to see a picture of one of those clocks posted on here. That's a lovely thing to do as a memory.

The photo is great. Everyone looks super (charged)! It must have been after dinner. We miss attending; years and miles speak too "loud and clear". I will say that I miss especially the heaavenly hash. That is a rare treat!!!

I support the family concept of gathering and sharing roots.
