Mary Lee came home this weekend specifically to go hunting with Mike. They left at 4:30 this morning and should get home in the next half hour. Mike said she was a real trouper - sat in a stand most of the day. She didn't get a deer, but can you tell what she did get?!!! I predict it is a good-sized coyote! Good job! Is there a bounty on coyotes these days so she will be paid a reward for turning in the ears or tail or whatever? In Illinois, they used to give, I believe, $20 for a coyote.

Yep, Cleve, you got it right - it's a coyote. Mike said she got a perfect shot.
She actually also had a good shot at a small buck late in the day, but it was already about 7:30 and they had a long ride back home, so she decided against it. It would have added a couple of hours to the day, and Mike had to get up at 4:00 this morning to go to work.
