What a nice couple of days to have Andrew drive over to see us. He arrived during the Bible study, so the ladies got to meet him and vice versa. You know how grandma's are--she had Andrew play his guitar and sing. He sang several Christian songs and then one humorous one. Mary came from work to eat with us and we had a nice evening. His summer wages as a camp counselor kept him on the sparse side financially, so it was only right that we go shopping for a few clothes to go back to college. Don't know who it enjoyed the spree more--Andrew or his grandmother.
Then last evening we went to the Medlens for hamburgers and this morning he had the chapel message at LCCS. He taught the kids a new song and accompanied several with his guitar. He headed home again after chapel and we were thankful for the time together. It seems that every age the grandchildren are has its special blessing.
