Since we ordered so late, our seats were very near the back of the crowd. With about five minutes to go, Andrew went out to the concession stand to get me a bottle of water. As he was returning to our seats, Ernie Haase's manager tapped him on the shoulder and asked him if he would like to swap his seats for two on the FRONT ROW! So there we went, getting prime seats in the house just two minutes before the concert began. Andrew was beside himself.

You may remember that last year Andrew went to the concert six hours early, with hopes of meeting Ernie and talking with him - and got his wish along with a couple of good pictures. Well, when Ernie came out tonight, he immediately made eye contact and pointed at Andrew, indicating that he remembered him. Then afterward, when they were talking, he asked Andrew if he is still singing. Andrew said yes - then asked him when he was going to call! I don't know where that boy gets such nerve!

That boy is going somewhere for sure! With his talents and his personality, God must have big plans for him!
I agree with Judy. Hope we get to see in in concert sometday! (although Ernie and the boys are a little too loud for us)
Actually, they were a little much for me also - too much of a "performance" to suit my tastes. But we did have a great time! :-)
Looking again at the picture or Ernie and Andrew...I'd have to say Andrew looks the most like the pro gospel singer...what a cool suit he has on! Ernie couldn't help but notice him!
What a good looking son you have.
And it's especially nice that he asked his Mother to go with him---AND it's wonderful that you went.
Keep those lines open!
He certainly doesn't get that nerve from this aunt--must be the other one!
I agree he's good looking--way better than Ernie Haase!
Andrew should keep in touch with Ernie -- by website or otherwise.
One never knows....
And that special seating opportunity at the concert? -- sounds like Divine intervention!
