Since Aunt Ada asked, here is the latest picture of one of the 18 chickens. We are at the half way point (six weeks), and tonight we weighed three for the first time. They ranged from 3 to 3.75 pounds.
eeeeeoooooouuu -- I'm glad it's you and not me caring for those chickens, but I know you're enjoying it and that's what counts. I remember (vaguely) my dad killing chickens - you've heard the term "running around like a chicken with it's head cut off" - and my mom processing them. Nothing better, though, than a chicken dinner.
