You probably won't have any trouble recognizing most of these pictures. BUT I'm not sure about the one with Mother. Alice, is that me or you and where is it?

Very cute pictures! I well remembr that corner of the dining room with the 4-Blue black phone on the wall and typical-cute-you at that time. Even I can almost guarantee that it is Aunt Alice with Grandma because it appears to be a slightly younger Perry who is trailing you both (enlarge the picture to agree or disagree). Cleve
Alice - do you remember that day? About how old were you - you look pretty young, about 10-12 at the most. Why were you in Chicago and who might've taken the picture? Notice the WAR headline on the newspaper? Mother looks very pretty in her hat - and her pretty summer dress with the flower at the neck. Is she holding gloves with her purse?
Perry and I are quite confident that the boy in the Chicago picture walking behind Alice is Lynn. Since Perry is 7 years younger than Alice, he would have been too little to be that boy.
That makes sense. I also thought it was too old a child for Perry, but didn't think about Lynn. I'm still curious about what the occasion was. (on a side note, I NEVER know how to spell "occasion" and have to look it up EVERY time! Sometimes, I just let it go and figure if it's wrong, the reader will think it's a typo)
Maybe the boy in back is Lynn. Dad probably had business in Chicago. I don't really know. A photographer on the street took the picture. Yes, I did see the headline "War" on the newspaper.

Love those glasses!!!!
That picture of Grandma and Alice...what a classic! I don't recognize Grandma in it at all. It could easily be a current Hallmark retro card!
I am in the picture with Mother. It was taken in Chicago. Doesn't Mother look pretty in her hat?
Perry is in the back probably holding Dad's hand.
Isn't Ada a cutie in picture #2?
In the Chicago picture, I think Mother looks like Cathy. Thanks for the great pictures, Ada!
