Brrrrrr!

It was so cold...
we had to kick a hole in the air just to get outside.

Almost feels that way here in central Illinois. Suppose Michigan is colder yet. You southerners can be appreciating your milder temps in the middle of winter...we are having a wintery winter so far this season!

Hope all are well, safe, and warm!

It is quite cold here in DC also, but by that I mean 25-35 - supposed to get a little lower later this week. No snow.

We are dropping into the single digits--the wind chill is there already which means it will be dropping below 0 throughout today for a few days. We were supposed to be having a winter storm all last night through today, but it's actually sunny today so very cold, but no snow.

Actually, we've had a bit of a "cold snap" here as well. It's been in the mid-40's during the day and upper 20's at night. It's amazing how many folks can't get over how cold it is and saying how much they are freezing. I have to admit, it's COLD and FREEZING outside. Sure wish it would warm up soon.

It was very cold here today - high of 9 degrees. It is supposed to snow tonight - 2 to 4 inches and become bitter cold tomorrow night and Thursday. Keith has a sore throat so we are staying in! I think it would be a good day to bake honey cookies. We watched Hilary's confirmation hearings today.

Tomorrow our temperature is not supposed to get above freezing at all during the day - high of 31. That only happens about once every three or four years. Guess it sounds a little odd to all of you who are freezing in Illinois and other places.
