This is a newly published book EMPLOYEE Number 2--THE STORY OF JOHN COOK and COOK'S PEST CONTROL. The title is the hook. To me the Employee Number 2 is a tremendous witness and it is readily apparent who Employee Number 1 is. I recommend that you all order this book for $25 (an investment--not an expense). It is well worth the money. Perhaps we are a little prejudiced since Mary and two other employees wrote the book. Mr. Cook is slowly succumbing to pancreatic cancer and the hope that the book would arrive while Mr. Cook is still with us was realized. Hardback, slick pages. first class, this book is a biography of John Cook, who with his wife, Jo, are long time Decatur friends of ours. You will want your family and children to read this biography when they reach understanding of the influence of Godly people.

Many of you will remember 1998 when we had an EJK family reunion in Decatur. The Cook company opened its conference center to us and a lovely family time was enjoyed. John and Jo made an appearance later in the program and you were privileged to meet them. Their story in written form is most interesting--from meager beginnings to success in so many areas. The story of John Cook and his family is a joy to read because of their kindly, unobtrusive demeanor.
