Another Interesting Statistic from the Past

This is something I researched and put on paper when we had the Klopfenstein reunion in Gridley a few years ago. It's another great scrapbook item. What a woman!

Sophie Meiss was married when she was 16 years old.
Exactly one year later:

Bertha A. was born.............13 months later,
B. Frank was born...............17 months later,
A Lee was born...................16 1/2 months later,
Elmer J. was born................17 months later,
Ida M. was born...................20 months later,
Fred W. was born................18 months later,
Joseph M. was born.............15 months later,
Mary E. was born................19 months later,
Anna K. was born................21 1/2 months later,
John A. was born.................18 months later,
Harry P. was born.................3 years later,
Arthur E. was born...............2 years 3 months later,
Minerva E. was born............2 years later,
William P. was born.

Sophia, speaking in German, often said, "Love is not divided, but is multiplied and added."

That's a nice bit of information. Thank you for your efforts to compile the data. There are probably hundreds of tidbits on the K family. I'll make a book about them if "all y'all" will step up and supply the information.
(Mim said she will gladly help.)

She must have been an amazing woman. I can't imagine.

She is right about the love being multiplied, but I'm not so sure about the energy levels!!
