Our final stop of the day was the National Archives to see the Declaration, Constitution, and Bill of Rights. No pictures allowed, but no problem with drawings!

Jen - I think your idea of having the girls write in notebooks is great. That picture of Catie sitting by the reflecting pool writing in her notebook is just precious. I'm glad you posted all these pictures (that goes for all three posts)!
