Pines at Four Hills
Most of you have probably heard that Preston moved to Sioux Falls a little over a week ago. He took a job at TCF Financial Corporation at the call center doing customer service work. He has 4 weeks of training before the actual work begins. Perry and I drove out with him (2 vans) and went apartment hunting with him. He was able to get a nice 1 bedroom apt in southeaster Sioux Falls which is 12 minutes from his work and 35 minutes to our Lester, IA church where he has been attending. Today they had about 7 more inches of snow which is quite unusual for this time of year. Perry II and I are planning to leave Thursday morning to take him some furniture, etc. because he moves into his apartment on Friday. Up until now he has been staying with Arnie and Myra Wulf who live in Sioux Falls and have a large home and are glad to keep him. Perry and I are adjusting to the empty nest. It's been 40 years since it was just the two of us. ---Carol

Thanks for the interesting update!
Congrats to Preston on landing a fine job and we will be prayerful for him as he begins this new "journey". Safe travels, too, to you and Perry II.
Love the pictures, thanks for posting them. This will be quite an adventure for Preston and I pray everything will go well for him. He looks sooooo excited to be there. Have a safe trip and tell him hi from us.
Thanks for the pictures. He looks like a real professional. He has been in our thoughts and prayers and hope the move goes smoothly.
Looks like a very nice Apartment building. We know the feeling of the "empty nest".
Thanks for the pictures. It looks quite beautiful with the modern buildings and the pretty trees with snow on them. We wish Preston well and have confidence that he will enjoy his new venture. We think of you, too, Perry and Carol, with the adjustment of seeing him leave the nest. You are missing him, I am sure.
Thanks for sharing. Earlier this week I wondered what had transpired since his trip out to SD which he was about to leave for when I visited.
Congrats on finding a job. Praying the transition for all goes well.
Congrats! I know exactly nothing about Sioux Falls, SD. Maybe Preston will make an occasional post about his adventures & new home town!
Preston, we wish you the very best in your new endeavour! This will make you really appreciate your mom's good cooking when you go home for a visit--
