Paul Klopfenstein

Paul Klopfenstein was in church tonight.  It is truly remarkable how he has recovered from being so gravely ill.  Here's a photo of Gary, Carlton & Paul in front of our house many years ago.  I'm guessing that it was probably around 1974, shortly after we moved to Gridley.  Posted by Carol

That picture brings back ALOT of memories --all good. I recall vividly that Carsh was a very, very good Sunday School teacher (and even often proclaimed that at the time). His content, voice, tall presence, and his great sense of humor kept our attention at all times. I could tell he was a good father, also, by the decorum and manners of his children. I still miss him and think of him quite often.

It's so interesting to see what pictures people have in their archives. It's fun to open the blog and see something so unexpected. Thanks, Carol.

Loved this picture. When I was a child I stayed at Aunt Setta's house a lot if Mother and Dad went away or something. And when Mother had that bad accident and was in the hospital for weeks, I was 2 1/2 and stayed there for the entire time. Carolyn and Carlton were both fun to be around. Carlton used to make me "hoot-n-nannies" with toothpicks. Wish I knew how it did it.
