RAINY DAY
Today was a chilly, cloudy, rainy day, so we decided to go the Flea Market, browse a bit, have a hotdog, listen to music, etc. It was mildly sprinkling when we left, but as we got about 4-5 blocks away, the deluge began. We could barely see where were going. Gulf Blvd - our main drag - is a two lane narrow highway with a bike track and a walking path on both sides and condo's along the west side and restaurants and/or more condo's on the east side. The puddles on my side of the car were splashing water as we drove through them.
After all that driving through the water, when we got to the Flea Market, it was closed - I assume due to the rain. So we went to the Tyrone Mall instead. Ate at the Food Court's Chick-Filet (don't think that's spelled right), then Jerry patiently let me browse some stores. Think I need to go back by myself sometime :)! Great mall.
He's on the beach now, rain stopped but it's still a little cloudy with some sun popping through. I need to get at the jigsaw puzzle we're working on. As you can see, our life is quite stressful right now!!

I'm sure you can edit the phrase "A bad day ____________ (golfing, fishing or whatever you choose) is better than a good day at work" with "a rainy day in Florida in January is better than an almost sunny day in the midwest."
We are looking for a snow storm beginning tomorrow with 4-8" of snow. With the lake so close that means anything from 0-24"!!!
Mmmm...Chick-Fil-A! It is popular around here and very kid friendly. I have also noticed very good cust service for a fast food place....although might be different at a food ct. Keep enjoying yourselves!
Just ask Andrew anything you want to know about Chik-fil-A. He is their number 1 employee!!!
I'm looking forward to it's growth into this area.
Indianapolis has many Chick-Fil-A outlets and Aaron, Kara, and kids love the food & prices. It is a Christian-based firm and employees always respond to any Thank You's from customers with "my pleasure!".
And, closed on Sundays.
