Recheck the photo of Perry, Aunt Mary, Mother, Carlton and Alice!
It is amazing the "stuff" a person encounters when getting into a closet. The photo was such a surprise that I couldn't pass up the idea of not putting it on the blog. And you all have responded quite well. NEXT--can anyone identify the location?

I think I remember that white telephone pole and the cement car-curb as the ones in front of the Athens church in Alabma.

I can't remember Aunt Mary ever going to Alabama. But I sure can't figure out where it was taken.

No, Cleve, it's not Alabama in our day there. Aunt Mary and Mother came once for the better part of a week. We had good eating with both Mother and Aunt Mary there. Can't remember Carsh ever being in Alabama while we were. Also sure that combination of folks never was in Alabama. Try again, Cleve! Of course, I could be wrong----
Aunt Mim: I'll try again. I think I recognize that concrete parking car-curb. It looks just like one I remember seeing at Uncle Fred's cabin near Champaign at a Klop Reunion back in about 1961. That's my next guess. That tree behind it looks familiar also.
Cleve, it seems more like a late-60's era photo to me, maybe even a little later than that. They all look dressed up too, which suggests a Sunday activity of some sort. But I have no idea of the location.
Ann, you may be right about the year, but I'm still intrigued by that concrete car-curb. And the trunk of that tree looks familiar.
I think Aunt Alice's once had that white purse on a vacation in Colorado, so my next location guess is: in a paved, tree-lined parking lot in Estes Park, Colorado!
I guess I'll have to finally quit trying (unsuccessfully) to be funny. It's time for bed (Sat. night) and I don't think I'll sleep til I find out where the picture was taken. Where are they???? Please!!!!
Any chance it's in Portland at Perry & Carol's wedding? Although I don't remember Aunt Mary or Carsh being there.... Am just hazarding a guess. Dad - please put Cleve out his misery and solve the mystery!
