RDK family Christmas at Gloria's

Gloria continued her tradition of hosting the full Ralph K. family Christmas at her Normal home on Dec. 17th. A very crowded household of 42 Klops gathered for great food, great fellowship, and much fun -- including a surprise visit from Santa Claus (Gloria, herself) in full uniform. A special large gift box was made by Gloria for Grandma K's -- the box was a scale-model duplicate of the RDK home in LaGrange Park on Beach Street from the 1950's and included a slot where all could put some cash for Grandma K's Christmas gift for 2011. A great time was had by all.

That house was a Gloria classic. She had comical notes to Santa on it written as if from us kids when we were little. The sad thing was that to get the money out, the house had to be torn into. Gloria has very creative talents!
