                                     Emch children and friends

We're eagerly anticipating their arrival in Gridley Friday night!  They plan to be with us Saturday for the Klopfenstein Christmas dinner.  The Endress family plan to come on Tuesday for our supper and gift exchange.  Endress's and Emch's will probably stay until Thursday morning.  The cousins are so excited to be together!  Merry Christmas!  Carol

Oh, how I regret the many miles between SC and IL. How nice it would be to see the Emch's and all. Carol, thanks for posting the pics. They are all darling but the one of Jesse adoring the nativity scene is a special winner.
Regarding miles, Friday night I was glad that the miles between the Bailes and us were few when we
needed Ann and Mike for a quick trip to the ER at 3:00 AM. A
Christmas blessing is that at this
point it appears we will enjoy a family Christmas on Monday, the
26th, with all expected except three Medlen girls, who can't get off for the two days after Christmas.

Beautiful pictures of the Emch children. They are growing up fast. Maria, I'm glad you will be at your parents for the Saturday dinner - will be great to spend some time with you. Have a safe trip.

Glad to hear you are coming on Saturday. It will be so good to see those good-looking Emch children in person.
Especially Alice.

You will have a very busy household next week, but a family together is worth all the work...and the fun together is the icing on the cake.
