Just found these pictures on my computer at school and thought you'd enjoy them. You won't have any trouble identifying them, but even so I'm not putting any names on. :-)
I wasn't sure about all the kids in the pictures. Don't ya'll look young, Lynn and Carol!
My bird story has become very wierd. Dave claims there were 2 eggs. I never saw any because that crazy mother bird has never left the nest, it seems. Now there is a big baby bird in there that she seems to be still smothering. It's huge, has feathers already, and is an ugly black color. I can only see one, because she still demands to sit on him, even though I see him struggling and kicking to move! Ada, you win, on a fun bird experience!
I think the girl with my dad in the middle picture is Jodie, although maybe I've messed up - don't remember them visiting us in AL. Dad or Mom would know.
I think that maybe the location is Uncle Ralph's big house near yours, Ada. I think those kids are in the kitchen and the shot is facing the dining room where the adults appear to be eating. Does that look right?
I look young all right, because I WAS young! I only would have been 21. Ellie told me that I look better now---quite a compliment from a 4 year old. Thanks for posting the pictures! It makes me lonesome.
The picture is Jamie--whoops, now I'm perplexed, maybe it's Jody. Anyway, Gloria had taken the girls on a vacation and spent a Saturday night with us. I remember a pallet on the floor in the middle bedroom for the little girls. That was a long time ago.
What do you mean "hideous pants". They're adorable!! Remind me of a striped pantsuit I had once that my kids always make fun of, but it was my favorite outfit!

A pleasant surpise for the day - loved the pics.
Where was the first picture taken? We've been trying to identify the house.
By the way, we've got hungry baby birds keeping their mother busy feeding them and keeping them warm. So fun to watch.

Judy, you've got a cowbird in there I bet.
I thought it looked like Jamie. And I figured out Carol must be holding Charity??
And I see two baby bird heads this morning...as the mother is forced to scoot over a bit.

Yes, that's where it is, Ann.

Apparently when one leaves the country for a few days, pictures of that person long ago in hideous pantsuits appear on the internet!
: )
