This nest is outside our dining room window in the Rose of Sharon bush. I hope the mother Robin comes back soon because it is pretty cold outside today. Maybe she's a first-time mother as there is only one egg. As you can see in the first picture, we have some tulips blooming.
Going to spend the rest of the day/evening binding a quilt.

You had me a little worried there for a minute with that headline!
The pictures of your remodeling job are beautiful!
I had an old friend from out of town to spend the night here this weekend, and having her here made me look at this house critically - it is time for some updates! And when the kids get out of college, we will start on them. If anyone comes to visit before them, you will have to be satisfied with datedness.
It was kinda fun having some activity on here this weekend, so just thought I'd add a little more. Have a good week - don't work too hard.
Dave showed me this morning that we also have a mama bird right outside our bedroom window. When she sits on her 2 eggs, her tail sits against our sill. I'm excited!
Yesterday, there were two eggs - guess she's a show "layer". AND she's a very pretty mom, so I'm sure our babies will be the cutest!! It will be fun to watch.
Your tulips are beautiful! How fun to watch for baby birds. Last spring we had a nest in our exahust fan over the stove. They made quite a racket and left quite a mess. But I didn't mind.
