Knockout Roses

Where we live, "knockout roses" have become quite the landscaping tool. They are so pretty and they bloom profusely, from early April until November. Last year we had them until the week before Thanksgiving. Are they becoming as prolific in the midwest as they are here? I absolutely love them, partially because of their beauty and partially because they take so little work!

This is last year, a few months after we planted them -
And this is this year's crop, which has just come out in the last couple of weeks.
Happy Easter to all of you!!!

Gorgeous! They sure took off in one year. You must have the perfect spot for them. I saw a lot of them last summer here, too. And they bloom for months. It's raining and cloudy here again today. The trees are blooming though, and look nice.

Beautiful roses, Ann. Yes, they are prolific here also, I have quite a few and they are so easy to grow (until the beatles kill them). Ours are not blooming yet - leaves are turning green and reddish. I just hope they don't "drown" today - our ditch is full of water and coming into the front yard.

A beautiful flower garden, indeed. Kathleen also has a beautiful flower garden that she takes great pride in, but your roses look much healthier than ours. I get a good deal of pleasure out of our garden --(mostly out of it). About all I've been able to grow in our garden is tired.
