GOOD MORNING

We've arrived in the sunny, warm south -- hmmm change that to the cold, cloudy south! We found our cozy little hide-a-way on the first try. We amazed ourselves as it was 9:30 at night and we sometimes have a hard time reading street signs in the dark. We are about 2 blocks from the beach, .5 mile from St Armands Circle - the very classy downtown area of shopping and eateries. We've not done much exploring yet, but since the weather is not warm/sunny, we will be doing more sightseeing than usual. There's much to see and do in this area.

We have a one bedroom apartment with a nice-sized living/dining room and a tiny kitchen (no dishwasher or garbage disposal) so we're definitely using disposable everything as much as possible, (which we usually do on vacation anyway) and eating out.

Not a lot to report at this time. Hope the weather has warmed up somewhat at home.

Glad to hear you are getting settled in your apartment. I saw it on the internet and it looks nice and homey. Happy Shopping!!!

It's also now predicting 6" of snow for Illinois "starting at 7 p.m. Wed. night" per the weathermen. Florida will warm up, so be glad you're there. Be sure to post us a picture when you get settled. Can you reveal to us what city you're at and maybe the resort/motel too???

We are currently in Sarasota at the Lido Islander. We have a one-bedroom apartment, pretty large living/dining room and a tiny kitchen, and of course a bathroom. If you've been to Sarasota, you may be familiar with St. Armands Circle - we're about 3 blocks from there and about 2 blocks from the beach.
