I've thought about you all at Perry's today and hope you had a nice time together. I also hope someone will post some pictures for those of us who would have loved to have been there but just live too far away!
My college agers are back home for Christmas vacation. When they got to town, Andrew took Mary Lee straight to the hospital where she had outpatient surgery on a pesky ganglion cyst on her wrist that's been giving her a lot of trouble. Other than a huge splint/bandage from fingers to elbow, which she has to wear for two weeks, she is doing great.
Dad has been sick the past couple of days with a 101-102 fever, but Mom says he's much better today. That was his first setback in what has been a great recovery from his hip surgery. We plan to go over there at the end of next week.
Keep in touch over these Christmas holidays!

We had a great day at Perry's Christmas gathering with the usual delicious meal. There were around 30 there - tables in three rooms. Of course, we had a program. Carol had a set of bells for the her grandchildren and "led" them by pointing her finger at them when it was their time to ring their bell - it was really cute and she said they only practiced once! I forget the song, maybe Carol can let us know what it was. I'm sure it will come to mind as soon as I close this comment.
Tonight Jerry and I met Ang's family at TGIFiday's to celebrate Heather's 21st birthday. Another great meal an fun with family. Even Nathan behaved well! Guess he's growing up.
We missed those of you who weren't with us today - maybe next year.
