I had it all figured out, I thought, except Larry. I couldn't tell who that one was. I recognized features similar to Charity, but couldn't figure out which boy it would've been. They are first cousins, so maybe there is a resemblence!
That boy on the left - I don't recognize him at all. Is he a family member?
This is a very long shot guess, but the picture seems like early-mid '60s. I do remember that before we moved to Alabama in 1965, my folks had a young boy from a home (Flanagan?) with us for Christmas one year. Could that be that boy, and the baby is Rhoda?
If the boy is Larry Jay or some other family member, my deep apologies!
I wasn't buying the Larry Jay guess either. Just doesn't look like him. I think Ann's timeline is correct, because I remember that dress...dresses with big ties were in that year, and Chris Meiss had a fabulous dress with a huge tie (I mean the tie was about 4 inches wide and went to the bottom of the dress, which was a minidress, very mod.) Well, I got a new dress, but my tie was very weak in comparison. Isn't it funny what you remember? I was probably in 7th grade, when things like that were important.
I believe you're right - Ang was born in 1968 and that picture might be earlier. At that time I think Larry would've been about 7-8, and as I look now, that boy is probably a young teen. Sorry I mislead everyone!!
I was pretty sure, too, that they were Perry, with Rhoda on his lap, Linda, and Judy. But had no idea who the boy was. That makes perfect sense, now, that it would be a boy from the Home. Sure makes me wonder who he is and where he ended up.
