It sounds like Alabama is a bad combination for EJK family members and pancreatitis. My dad is down with it now, although he appears to have a mild case of it compared to Retta's. He has been able to stay at home without having to be hospitalized. Retta, we haven't heard how you are doing lately - better I hope?

Well, I've been too busy to post lately. Sorry about that! Retta is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday to remove her gall bladder. They have determined, like Lynn, that as alcohol is not the cause of her pancratitis, then its the gall bladder. Since leaving the hospital, she's been having discomfort after she eats. Tests revealed this week that her gall bladder is non-functional.
I've been working nonstop and post this on my blackberry. I'll try and post later today or tomorrow all the Alabama Knobloch news. EDK
