Happy Labor Day weekend! What kind of plans does everyone have? We'll be home . . . .

Our plans to go to Savannah on Monday on a bus tour with other prime timers has been tabled because Lynn has a mild case of pancreatitis. He's been ailing the past several days with the main symptom being discomfort in his abdomen. So we went to see our M.D., who diagnosed the problem: pancreatitis, which is caused by one of two things: alcohol or gall stones. The doctor eliminated the former and next week we go in for an ultrasound to look for gall stones. So the Savannah twilight cruise and eating at Paula Deen's restaurant is on hold. The Dr. said not to go to Savannah and if we did go, do not tell him. The possibility of a flare-up would be bad news. Common sense said listen to the doctor. And we will!
Mike works Monday also. We have both had a very busy week, so today is sort of a recuperation day. The biggest thing on my list is getting together Mary Lee's list of art supplies that we need to get to her before drawing class on Tuesday.

I'll be in the work mode on Monday also. Thought hard about it, but didn't resist the holiday pay. Sad, but true.
