50th Wedding Anniversary

Today we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary!!
Larry, Barb, Erin, Thomas, Bonnie and Lauren came over this morning and went to church with us.

This afternoon we are going to Jim's Steak House for dinner.

Lauren made a beautiful scrap book for us with loads of pictures I had given her. She is very artistic and enjoys doing scrapbooks.

Larry, Barb and girls gave us a Waterford Bud Vase. They know I love glassware. They also brought a cake that we will have for dessert.

We can't believe we've been married 50 years. The Lord has been good to us.

Wow! and CONGRATULATIONS! We did not know this special day was coming up so fast. I remember well the day you were married and I remember (apparently at age 12) looking at the clock in the old Gridley hardroad church when, I think it was Uncle Joe, who pronouced you married at exactly 1:07 p.m.
You are a wonderful couple and we wish you many more blessed years together.

Congratulations! I did not know that it was your 50th anniversary! 50 years is a really long time. I don't think you seem old enough to be married that long! :) And, another scrapbooker in the family? How many of us are there? We should all "scrap" some day!

That is a beautiful picture of both of you - professional photographer or did Larry take it? Sounds like a wonderful day with your family. Hope you enjoy many more years together.

Dear Uncle Keith and Aunt Alice - Congratulations! What a wonderful event to celebrate and so great that you have your family close by. Any advice for us younger folks? Love to you both. You look great.

That is a lovely photo of a lovely couple. I didn't realize you'd been married that long either. I remember seeing a video of all the family leaving the homestead on the morning of your wedding - don't you have that, Cleve?

Congratulations on a tremendous milestone. You are an example for future generations.
