Being the avid dog-hater that I am (as are most true Klops), I will admit that that is a cute little puppy. And all the men in the pictures are even cuter. I'm sure you'll all enjoy the addition to your family.
The puppy adjustment has been a lot smoother than I imagined; I think I was expecting the worst. Will woke up with hives this morning, so I'm praying he's not allergic to it! He doesn't have any other allergies, so we'll see I guess.
Shelley, really!! First a garden, now a dog???? As if you don't already have enough to do!!
Just kidding! Wishing you beautiful, sunshine-y, breezy, fun and dirty days out there in the country. We raised our girls that way and I wouldn't have traded it for the whole world! Enoy!
Five boys in the country with a dog - a lot of fun!
I'll never forget the day Mike brought home a collie pup for Andrew's 10th birthday. I had told him that if we ever had a third child I'd have to stay at home. Well, that dog was/is as much work as a third child. But we love her. Any time Mike fusses about how much work she is - I remind him who brought her home. :-)
I love the pics Nog Blog sent of those adorable little boys and their dad. Even the dog is cute! Sam looks so much like his dear dad. We saw him and Betty and the three young'uns often years ago and have excellent memories of those occasions.
Jerry is starting to say Nathan needs a dog since we're not going to give him a brother. I've threatened the way mom did when I was a kid. Me or the dog. He said, you'd leave me if I got a dog? I said, well, I won't live with one. If the dog hating gene is "klop," I sure got it! Shelly, I think your dog is cute, and I hope you all enjoy it. I'm sure the boys will help care for and entertain him.

The puppy is adorable! The boys will truly love him. Yes, it's more work, but probably worth it.
