Michigan's Race for Governor Begins

Today at the end of the day Peter Hoekstra held a rally in the factory part of my building as a part of his cross state tour to announce his candidacy for governor. Hoekstra is the current ranking Republican of the House Intelligence committee in case you don't know who he is.

I've always enjoyed a political rally.
By the way, you can see the Herman Miller Equa chair boxes behind him. These are now being sold at Costco.

One time we were at the Illinos state fair and shook hands with Bob Dole. Perhaps most memorable was when Bush #41 was in Minonk at Jerry's school. Another time we went to Lincoln, IL to see Reagan. And yesterday, we saw a picture of Joan (Perry II's wife) with Michail Gorbachev who was in Peoria on Saturday. I doubt if she would let me post it for you all to see. We find politics and political figures interesting as most of you know. Currently, Perry, Sr. is reading an autobiography written by Teddy Roosevelt.
