Beautiful Sunday Morning

This morning we woke up to 5 inches of snow. The trees, bushes , wires, etc. were covered with an icy snow. It was a beautiful sight. The car on the driveway was literally buried in snow, the snow on the driveway was deep, so we went back to bed. We were hoping the man who removes the snow would come to clean the drive so we could go to church. He finally came at about 9:30 so we got ready and went to church at noon. (Just in time for lunch) After church the roads were cleared and now the snow is melting fast. We can't wait for some nice warm spring days!

We also had snow this morning; maybe about 1-2 inches. But I want Spring so bad that I didn't even think about it being pretty. Glad you made it to church at noon.

Our high school kids got home from a work week in Jamaica. They get one day on the beach after a week at work, and they all had braids and beads in their hair. They were all pretty "keyed up".

That sounds like our Sunday night/Monday morning of a month ago. We enjoyed it so much because it is a rarity here. Glad you could enjoy it but that you could get out too.

We didn't have accumulating snow, but I must admit I didn't have the best of attitudes driving to church while it was snowing when the previous weekend in AL and Atlanta was filled with beautiful sunshine and NO COAT!!!

We are close to breaking a record to be the second snowiest winter on record, but it appears we will sit at 104.9" which ties for fourth I think.
