Olive Garden

Yesterday Jerry and I had lunch at the Olive Garden - thanks to Heather, their #1 employee, who gave us a giftcard for Christmas.

I had trouble getting the plastic wrap off the straw, so finally put it in my mouth and bit it off! Jerry gave me a rather strange look. I smiled and said "was that rather uncouth?"

Seems like that word came up from nowhere - think it is another Klop word from years gone by?

I've heard that word before, but I do think it was a "Grandma" word. Hope you're having a good day!

I don't think "uncouth" was a grandma word. I've heard it a number of times.

By the way - do you like Olive Garden? If Heather works there maybe I shouldn't say this. . .but it's not my favorite. It seems like paying a lot of money for pasta. Give me a good steak or a plate of shrimp instead. To each his own. . .

I do enjoy the Olive Garden ocassionally although the pasta is not good for me - spikes the blood pretty good. We had soup, salad and breasticks yesterday. I like it better for lunch - but would also prefer a good steak or chicken for dinner. It's a very busy place in B'ton.
