Today, Jerry volunteered at the hospital as he does every Thursday morning. When he came home, he was carrying three 16-oz bottles of diet cherry pepsi. I had never seen him drink this before so thought he accidentally got the wrong bottles. He smilingly said he always treats himself to a bottle of diet cherry pepsi when he's working there and has been collecting the "free" bottle caps and today cashed them in for the three free bottles.
I said, "why did you get the cherry kind? and he said "I love it - it's just like the cherry cokes I used to drink at Tronce's when I was in high school." We have been married for nearly 44 years and I never knew he liked cherry cokes! Wonder what other secrets he has??
